Gregg B. Patterson has demonstrated leadership excellence in various roles, including CFO, COO, CEO, and Executive Director within the Professional, Financial Services, and Non-Profit sectors. As the founder and CEO of IMS Business, LC, in 1996, our company has grown to be a leading professional services firm, Gregg oversees the provision of interim and part-time accounting services (Accounting, Controller, CFO, CEO, and ED) to organizations with a local, regional, and international presence. IMS Business currently supports approximately 65 different organizations (both for-profit and non-profit) with financial services. Additionally, IMS specializes in operations and crisis management services. Through supporting the success of hundreds of organizations, the team at IMS has garnered substantial insights into the key ingredients that contribute to organizational success.

Gregg also served as the Executive Director of Choose Tallahassee, a 501(c)(3) economic development organization with the mission of encouraging relocation to Tallahassee. Under his leadership, Choose Tallahassee transitioned from an all-volunteer organization into a fully structured entity with bylaws and a functioning board of directors. The marketing efforts have exceeded expectations, with over 100,000 annual visitors to the website, increased relocations to Tallahassee, and the creation of new jobs. The resulting economic GDP is in multiple millions of dollars.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Gregg contributes as a guest columnist for the Tallahassee Democrat – USA Today Network (Tallahassee Democrat). Many readers have followed his adventures across Spain, Scotland, Portugal, Italy and England. Gregg is a past president of Sunrise Rotary in Tallahassee and has been twice nominated for the Rotary Ethics in Business Award, as well as for Leader of the Year in Tallahassee.

A graduate of FSU’s School of Business, Gregg has been married to his wife, Morgan, for 35 years. Morgan, a front-line ER Nurse for 23 years, transitioned into healthcare education and retired from Leon County Schools in 2020. She has now launched a start-up outdoor women’s clothing line.
